Terms of service
Please ensure you read and understand our Terms of Service.
By making a booking with us, you accept and agree to the following terms. Please check this page regularly, as these terms are subject to change without notice.All dog’s must be brought to the salon on a lead, this ensures their safety outside of the salon and allows us to take them to the toilet if needed.Please toilet your dog prior to entering our salon and ensure that any mess on the lawn is cleaned up appropriately. If you need a bag, please ask.
Rescheduling & Cancellation Policy
24 hours’ notice must be given if your pooch is unable to make their appointment.Less than 24 hours’ notice of cancellation or no-show’s will incur a $25 fee per dog booked - Payable BEFORE your pooches next appointment.In the case of no-shows, if we have been unable to reach you after 15 minutes, the appointment will be cancelled to keep our other appointments for the rest of the day running smoothly.
De-Matting Policy
Matted hair:
•Does not allow air circulation to the dog's skin,
•Can cause hot spots, bacteria, and fungus infections.
•Helps fleas, ticks, and other parasites hide in the coat.
•Causes skin to become red, raw, cracked, and inflamed.
•Pulls and binds, causing the dog pain when they move or lay down.At Puppy Love we do not subject dogs to the painful process of de-matting.Sometimes it is necessary for a severely matted coat to be shaved off completely. Although care is taken to avoid injury, shaving a matted coat may result in nicks, cuts and/or abrasions to the skin. Puppy Love Dog Grooming will not be liable for injury caused to a matted pet.
Health and Wellbeing
Puppy Love is primarily concerned with the health and wellbeing of your dog/s. Please inform us of any recent veterinary care or noticeable change in your dog’s health so we may best assess how to proceed with our service.Please inform us if you discover your dog has a communicable disease, fungus or skin condition and maintain your vaccination, worming and flea treatments.Please note Puppy Love will not accept dogs with fleas.Pregnant dogs are not permitted in the salon past 6 weeks gestation.If your dog has recently been spayed, please ensure the dogs next appointment is a minimum of 2 weeks after the desexing.
Refusal of Service
We reserve the right to refuse service at the time of booking or scheduled appointment time. Puppy Love Dog Grooming makes every effort to accommodate clients but may choose to decline a booking request or discontinue your service at our discretion.Some reasons we may choose to do so include repeated late payments/rescheduling/cancellations, actual or perceived inability to provide the service you have requested due to your dog/s health/behaviour/coat condition and psychosocial stressors.In addition, pet owners displaying rude, demeaning, disrespectful, harassing, threatening or demanding behaviour will not be tolerated.
